Job Description
Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we are expanding our Transmission & Distribution team and are seeking an additional project manager to join our Wellington office.
How you’ll make a difference
Support the delivery of transmission & distribution projects for public and private sector clients, including managing timelines, budgets and deliverables to prevent delays, bottlenecks, and ensure client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Ensure resource availability across projects to maximise productivity, proactively manage client expectations and address issues to guarantee timely project delivery.
Maintain and enhance our national transmission & distribution resource tool by gathering feedback from project and people managers for continuous improvement in collaboration with the ICT team.
Qualifications
The qualities that help you thrive
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an industry-recognised project management qualification with an engineering background.
At least 3 years of professional project management experience within the energy sector, ideally within New Zealand.
Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships while delivering results under tight timeframes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience in construction management or EPC contracts is advantageous.
