Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
Responsibilities:
Undertakes quality control and quality assurance related inspection activities throughout the design, construction, handover, and closeout phases.
Prepares and presents regular progress reports including reporting on key quality metrics including suggesting corrective actions.
Ensures conformance to the required quality management standards.
Provides input to submittals, RFIs, O&M manuals, and other technical documentation as needed.
Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Provides input to documentation for area/equipment turnovers.
Implements and follows quality assurance program procedures.
Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BS + Minimum 4 years of professional experience in large complex projects.
Good understanding of reporting requirements and experience in providing management reports.
Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including contractors and other site personnel.
Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
Preferred Requirements:
6 years + of professional experience in a quality control and / or quality assurance function.
On-site experience.
