Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Airport 3rd Party Approvals Consents & Permitting Manager to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga . We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world

Major Responsibilities:

  • Identify and coordinate requirements for third-party approvals, consents, and permits.

  • Collaborate with the contractor to manage relationships with third-party stakeholders regarding approvals, consents, and permits.

  • Track and monitor third-party approvals, consents, and permits while providing regular management reports.

  • Work closely with the Program Director and Program Leads to align schedule requirements with third-party approvals, consents, and permits.

  • Offer subject matter expertise to expedite third-party approvals, consents, and permits.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:

  • University Degree and 4 years of relevant experience in a program management and / or permitting, consents, and approvals function, including on large airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Relevant professional designations are considered an asset.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in program management or in a permitting, consents, and approvals role.

  • At least 5 years of experience working on large airport projects or comparable infrastructure programs.

  • In-depth knowledge of general and local requirements related to third-party approvals, permits, and consents.

  • Strong technical expertise across all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, preferably in large-scale programs or projects.

  • Proven experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and delivering strategic-level reporting to support effective decision-making.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops involving large groups of stakeholders.

Additional Information

This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
