Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineering Bridge Lead to sit in our Middleton, WI office. This individual will be an established professional services leader in the Structural sector to support the Department manager and Division Lead to drive the growth, strategy, and profitability of AECOM’s services within Wisconsin. This candidate will provide leadership and coaching to staff in various subjects including, but not limited to, technical project oversight, business development, capture management, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will be an industry leader with existing relationships at key transportation agencies in the state of Wisconsin.
This position is expected to begin immediately.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $130,000.00 - $190,000.00.

Job Summary/Responsibilities
•Provides technical leadership for a specialty and is considered to be a fully capable professional in their field.
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences.
Resolves important questions and plans and coordinates work.
Requires the use of advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines.
The knowledge and expertise required for this level of work usually result from progressive experience.
Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
Receives direction on unusual conditions and developments.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering, MS in structural engineering is preferred
Registered Professional and Structural Engineer in Wisconsin
8 + years bridge design project delivery experience.
Graduate degree in engineering
Ability to teach and mentor technical staff by demonstrated knowledge of relevant technical skills and tools
Team-oriented individual with ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate clearly and simply to clients, leadership, and technical staff
Ability to balance various responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and quality

Offered rate of compensation for Middleton, Wisc. (and greater Wisconsin ) will be based on the individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $190,000.00.
