Are you looking to kickstart your career in quantity surveying and commercial activities? AECOM Bahrain is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Project Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be involved in all commercial activities during the pre and post contract phases of construction projects, gaining valuable experience across various project types from fit-outs to new builds.
Role Overview
As a Graduate Project Surveyor, you will work closely with senior Project Surveyors to support commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to contribute to tasks including measurement, production of volume reports, contracts and procurement, cost forecasting, variation management, market testing, cost planning, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of senior Project Surveyors to complete measurement of quantities for cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities.
Assist in the preparation of tender documentation.
Support viability studies and cost estimates.
Implement, maintain, and monitor cost control procedures during project execution.
Evaluate variations, additions, and omissions, and incorporate them into monthly cost reports.
Assist in preparing, pricing, and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors.
Conduct market testing of rates and analyze tender returns for input into rates databases and estimates.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering from an accredited University
Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates (no later than Sept 2025) to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
If you hold a Master’s degree, it must have started within 12 months of finishing your Bachelor’s to meet the program’s continuous education requirement.
Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
In accordance with Bahrain labour law, only Bahraini Nationals will be considered for this role.
