Our Graduate Program presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Architect to join our Rail team in Dubai. This role offers recent graduates with an architectural background the chance to gain valuable experience in a distinguished multinational company and contribute to iconic projects in the region, specifically with a focus on Rail assets. Our team specializes in delivering projects in transit/rail and metros, covering station architecture, station entrances, placemaking, depots, ancillary buildings, urban integration, multimodal integration, concept designs, schematic designs, and detailed designs for construction. You will have the opportunity to develop professionally in a design environment, working on projects under the guidance of senior team members.

Role Overview

As a Graduate Architect, you will collaborate with senior team members on diverse projects across all design and construction stages. You will play a vital role from day one, contributing to important and challenging projects. Your tasks will vary daily, requiring problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Responsibilities include conceptual design preparation, design development, technical delivery, and contributing to "Design Excellence" in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing conceptual design work and project presentations.

  • Support design development of project proposals and feasibility studies.

  • Contribute to technical delivery, including working drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.

  • Enhance "Design Excellence" through qualified project delivery.

  • Prepare and present plans to governing and permitting authorities for land use, zoning, and permit approvals.

  • Carry out assignments independently in alignment with project objectives and professional standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.

  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.

  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.

  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
