Job Description
Due to a strong project pipeline, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Team as a Principal level Secondary Systems engineer based in Melbourne (or Adelaide). This would suit an experienced Secondary Engineer with prior experience in technical leadership on projects with strong knowledge of Australian Design Standards. You will be working on some major projects across both the transmission and distribution space.
How you’ll make a difference:
Act as Technical Lead on projects including managing delivery, verifying detailed design and monitor project measures ensuring on-time, under budget high-quality delivery to our clients.
Work closely with our multidisciplinary team of Engineers in a client-facing role fostering and developing relationships, on a variety of projects across various market sectors including; transmission and distribution, renewables, traction power an building services sector.
Overall team management of the secondary systems team, including work and resource allocation, oversight of projects and helping the team develop professionally.
Collaborate with the team, and senior leadership to develop innovative solutions to our clients assisting with bids, tenders and business development activities.
Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar) with RPEV (or equivalent) or ability to obtain.
Evidence of technical competency and project leadership experience in Secondary System projects alongside a detailed knowledge of Secondary Systems and equipment.
Ability to work independently on projects in Protection and Control, while working closely with major client accounts.
Prior involvement in delivery of detailed scope and specifications, detailed design, review sign off, report writing and relay configurations.
Proven understanding of sub-transmission and distribution system protection and control Australian Standards.
